The Life and Times of Deborah Kerr

An RPG Journal

Once Major Barbara is finished, I'll be moving on to Love on the Dole, which is based on the novel by Walter Greenwood. I've got a much bigger role. In fact, I'm the lead, so it seems my movie career is going places. How long this will last, I'm not sure.
Love on the Dole is another politically-minded film. It deals with the Depression in Wales.
I hope to move on to some non-political, satirical films. One can't make a career out of them.

Hello.
I'm in the middle of making the film 'Major Barbara', which is based on the play by Bernard Shaw. The best part of this film is working with Rex Harrison, a well known British actor. It's one of the most exciting things I've ever done. Perhaps the only thing that tops this is getting a bit part in my first ever film, which was unexpected, and the biggest thrill of my life. The fact that this film is such a wonderful satire makes it all the more wonderful to work on.
It's hard to believe that only a few years ago, I was depending on my aunt for various stage-acting parts. Now I have roles in films. With lines. It's almost too hard to believe.
At the ripe old age of twenty, I can look back upon my early years and see that it was good that this opportunity was given to me as a young teen. My shyness was on my list of personality flaws, but now I've become to overcome that.
I've got to get back to work, but I wanted to write a little in my spare time, since I've actually had thoughts to pen.
